Fostering academic success through Service Learning activities

چکیده

This article illustrates the Service Learning model developed by a research group of Department Philosophy and Educational Sciences University Turin for implementation projects (Fenix, Nobody Stays Behind, Un Assist towards success, Peer Will, A playful course to introduce Italian Language), which actively involved numerous university students, meet learning needs disadvantaged children young people in their community (n=2.673). It is an original model, integrates quality elements identified international studies, with peculiar characteristics, such as need balance educational nature experience students intervention carried out systematic monitoring. In this contribution, impacts both on direct beneficiaries will be presented. Promuovere il successo scolastico attraverso programmi di Learning.
